I taught a couple classes at this cute little store in Monrovia Ca, called Scrap & Yap. Tiny little store on the edge of the historical district, But don't let its size fool ya! Elizabeth has the store packed to the hilt with the best the industry has to offer. Lucky for me Mykle took both classes and was one snap happy lady. All the photos on this post are compliments of her. She took a great picture of a few of the class projects from the Jewelry class, and some great in the moment photos through out the day.
Always makes me feel good....This has been a pretty stressful week. My best stress reliever is to create something with my hands that is not related to deadlines. I used the Bare Elements Adrian magnetic paper clips to create these cute little clips, all of the images are from vintage magazines and dictionaries. I hoard old books just for projects like this. I will be selling these along with tons of other goodies next weekend at Paris to the Moon in Costa Mesa. All through the week i will post more photos of items i am bringing to the Artist Market....I plan on doing some early Christmas shopping myself while i am there....Yes, i did say Christmas shopping, afterall it is only a few months away.
After a two week hiatus from blog land I am back. I have been so busy, that of course my blog suffered yet another dose of neglect.
Lulu, was one of the projects i had to complete before i could once again begin blogging.
She is made entirely of Creative Imaginations papers, and AccuCut Dies and Machines....yes i did say machines...3,000 die cuts later we have a dress.

Been busy lately making samples...finishing some artwork. Deadlines are looming ahead. I need to stock up on some Sobe Adrenaline Rush energy drinks and pull a couple of all nighters... the good stuff always comes when i am under the gun....
I wanted to post this clock to show you that i do make things other than posies. I used the Bliss Collection andSome Karen Russell Narratives....Isn't it cool to bring our scrapbooking products into home decor....just one more reason to buy paper.
Perfecting my paper posies...yet again. This posie bouquet is a class sample Featuring AccuCut dies. The fringe maker die has become my new best friend!..Have I mentioned how much I love this machine and the dies...It makes magic I tell you. Pure Magic.
I love the mixture of papers, all of my favs ...a little bit of foof, a bit of anna g, some seven g's, some carolees, sonnets, and last but not least a bit from me...I stayed in my PJ's all day yesterday creating and playing with paper. I love days like that, the ones where i don't have to be some where , i don't have to do anything, but create.....create....create....create.
On another note...a reminder that today is the last day to donate to women for women. If you haven't already...or want to donate a dollar or two again, run on over to Karens blog and do so. I have several favorite projects that i have done for one reason or another...Many that were done long before i started blogging. I think little by little i am going to add some of the pieces that are near and dear to my heart, to my blog....For those of you who are scrappers you may have seen some of these projects...please bear with me. i am coming to realize that my readership had widely broadened in the past few weeks, so i am adding things that i think my newfound readership might enjoy....thanks for indulging me! I am only adding the stuff i really had fun making...the stuff that when i look at it...i feel good.
This dress was my first attempt at paper couture...the entire dress is made of FiberMark paper...every last bit. I hand cut each and every flower, and then shaped them with a repousse
tools, molding the paper into more realistic looking flowers...final for a touch of glam i put a rhinestone in the center of each flower....I made the dress almost 2 years and many dresses ago...
Thanks Ulla for making me realize yet again how much i love paper...and how much i love creating with paper.
Are you getting tired of seeing my Posies yet? I am still up to my ears in projects...here is one i finished today. I really like the way it turned out...very springy.
